Welcome! Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ by building relationships with them, being examples for them and teaching them God’s Word.

Children are very important to us at PVBC. We provide something for children of all ages from infancy through 6th grade. You can see the class breakdown below:

Infant - Pre K

We provide Childcare for infants through Pre-K during Sunday School and Worship services. We strive to make this more than just a time of "babysitting" by taking opportunities to teach and train even the youngest of our children.

K - 6th Grades

“Passing on the faith” are words that accurately describe the Children’s Ministry at PVBC. Because the elementary years offer a short window of opportunity for growth in all aspects of life, we are committed to providing high quality spiritual growth opportunities for boys and girls. We focus on proven educational methods as we guide the spiritual growth of children in a safe environment.

Sunday School

Each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. boys and girls meet for Sunday School. We use curriculum which provides age appropriate lessons that are rich in Bible content. Through large and small group learning experiences, every child’s spiritual growth is encouraged under the watchful eye of experienced, screened, dedicated teachers.

Experiencing God through Special Events...

Vacation Bible School is a week of highly focused Bible-learning experience for boys and girls held in the summer (usually late June). For five straight evenings, we concentrate on one particular Bible theme and are able to go into greater depth of learning than is possible in the Sunday morning Bible Study.

Kidz Camp is a shortened camp experience for our children. This prepares them for Youth Camp when they get older. The camp experience is one that your child will never forget. It gives them the opportunity to spread their wings a little while learning more about Christ and building relationships with their peers.

All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition, all teacher helpers must attend training.
