What are “Friends of Lighthouse”?

The “Friends of Lighthouse” are businesses that have committed to giving a percentage of their business’s proceeds to LCA because they believe in the purposes of the LCA Ministry.

LCA is a Christian School with a Biblical foundation. It is a school that challenges the students to develop their ability to reason as to what the Bible teaches, and why they believe what they believe. It is a school that helps its students develops personal convictions and self disciplines.

LCA and America

LCA has degreed teachers who are at Lighthouse because of their calling to teach at a Christian school and invest in the teaching of God’s students. However their compensation is not near what they deserve. The “Friends of Lighthouse” will be greatly helping them in their provision.

How does this program work?

Those who desire to be listed as “Friends of Lighthouse” will enter into a formal agreement with LCA for a set time agreed to by both parties.

When students, parents and other concerned supporters of LCA see that these businesses are supporters of LCA and they shop there, they then bring their receipts to either LCA or the information center of PVBC. Periodically the receipts will be gathered by LCA-appointed representatives, stapled together and sent to the business of the receipts. Each business will send a check to LCA with the specific percentage they have agreed too.

How does being a Friend of LCA benefit the business?

First, the business will have the satisfaction of knowing that they have helped a Christian school teach the principles that made America great and in turn serve God and America.

Second, the business will have the joy of knowing that they have helped a host of students become disciple in the ways of Jesus Christ, and in turn helped fulfilled the Great Commission found in Matthew 28: 18-20.

Third, the business will be a part of ministering to many families that are not involved in a church, and in turn sowing the seeds of the love of Christ and the word of God via the LCA Pre-school. We have discovered that many times LCA Preschool is the only exposure to Christ Jesus, His LOVE and His WORD that many will ever get.

Fourth, the business will have the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping to pay Christian school teachers a comparable salary to that which secular teachers are paid.


Last but not least, the business will be displayed on the School and the Church web site as “Friends of Lighthouse.”  The fact of their commitment will be displayed to exalt their heart for the school. The business will periodically be listed before PVBC as “Friends of LCA” in bulletins, overheads and other displays.  When LCA is promoted, “Friends of LCA” will be promoted as well.  It is a wonderful thing to have your business exposed, but the joy of helping this ministry will be a wonderful satisfaction to any Christian business.
