Happy Feet

Happy Feet is a part of "Workers in the Harvest", a ministry out of Ecuador run by Steve and Micki Herrmann.  It is a ministry which brings new shoes, socks and the Gospel of Jesus to poor native children in Quito Ecuador.  Each participant  takes 40 pair of shoes and socks as well as other treats to children in Ecuador.  The children they see often don't have parents and live out on the streets or in half finished homes with one parent.  The team members from the states go for a week to ten days and wash the children's feet, give them new shoes and socks as well as a hug, a smile, and the Word of God.  What they get back is priceless!!! To have the opportunity to plant the seeds of the Gospel and change the life of one child at a time...It is an experience that will not be forgotten for a life-time.  Take it from someone who has been four times and takes every opportunity to return for the sake of those children who have so little.
