Christmas in Ecuador
Several years ago, we received word from the missionaries in Quito Ecuador, that they were not receiving the "Samaritans Purse Boxes" that they were supposed to be getting and their needy children would have no Christmas. We sprang into action and sent funds so the children who eat at the soup kitchen and other needy street children would have Christmas, and the opportunity to hear about the true meaning of Christmas; the birth of Jesus our Savior. Since that time, we gather funds in the fall and send them to Steve and Micki Herrmann so they can give the needy children of Quito and the southern jungles an idea of what Christmas is really all about. The reason for the season is Jesus..!
The month of November is time once again to make a $10 gift to help the children of Ecuador to have a joyous and blessed CHRISTmas celebrations.
The PVBC family has always been very generous in providing funds for Mickie and Steve Herrmann to purchase gifts and all the necessary dinner trimmings for these underpriveledged children to celebrate our Lord's birth. If not for your love and generosity, December 25th would be just another day for them
During the month of November you will see green envelops in your bulletin to provide your gift of $10 or more. We will be providing for more then 500 boys & girls.
Please pray for this ministry. Even with our gifts the children of Ecuador will only recieve a stocking with some small toys. Please give generously.
It is such a blessing to share with these little ones. If you have any questions please contact Thelma Lynch 410-378-0672
