Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
1 Corinthians 16:13
Men are very important to us at PVBC. God has called men to be the spiritual leaders of their families, and our desire is to help them be the best leaders they can possibly be. In order to accomplish this, we have many ministries to encourage, nurture, and involve men in fellowship and ministry.
Here are some alarming statistics:
We don't want this to be the case in our families! We target our men and help encourage them to become the spiritual leader God desires them to be. Young men, senior men, or any age in between: you can get plugged in to our active, growing men’s ministry. Here are just some of the ministries we offer to men:
Here are some alarming statistics:
- On any given Sunday, there are 13 million more adult women than men in America’s churches.
- More than 90 percent of American men believe in God, and five out of six call themselves Christians, but only two out of six attend church on any given Sunday. The average man accepts the reality of Jesus Christ, but fails to see any value in going to church.
- Fewer than 10 percent of U.S. churches are able to establish or maintain a vibrant men’s ministry.

- Outdoor Ministry
- Christian Outdoor Ministry – this ministry conducts several outdoor events each year, including turkey shoots, fishing expos, camp-outs, and even a wild game feast. Check the church calendar for scheduled events.
- Men's Fellowships
- Men are invited to join the Manna Men on the FIRST MONDAY of every month, at 8:30 a.m. in the Youth Center, for breakfast and devotions. It is also a good opportunity for men to fellowship and share each other’s needs in a proactive way. For more information, you may contact Tony Kulesza at 443-310-8239 or KuleszaTony@gmail.com. (A small donation is collected to help with the cost of the food.)
- Men's Softball
- We participate in a local Southern Baptist church softball league. If you are interested in joining the team, call the church office.
